This unique opening necklace, inspired by a vintage matchbox design, is a modern day twist on a locket.  The box features an engraved swan design and features the words 'Keep Swimming', a great metaphor for pushing through difficult things or giving courage. The playful matchbox slides open to reveal a set of four tiny matches with a heart on top.  The reverse of the box is inscribed with the words 'Love Matches' and 'British Made'.  The necklace is very wearable as an everyday piece and is oxidised in finish.  It is attached on one side of the box (hanging at an angle) to an 18.5" fine but strong silver belcher chain, with a matchstick T-bar fastening.  Ideal for layering with other necklaces.
